That esteemed journal,
The Daily Mail, has done a hi-fi survey that's come up with some startling/depressing results (delete where applicable). It seems they asked readers to pick out the 'best' sound from a pre-selected list of very modest equipment.
And the winner is...a micro-system from Tesco, costing a little over £16.
It is especially made for those who think all mp3s sound the same whatever the compression
